    1. So pleased to read there is a book on this topic as there are so many marketers and “hypers” it gets hard to know what’s a best practice anymore.

Stephanie has been a great thought leader in how to build an authentic online presence and complement it with offline strategies that are based on “keeping it real.” Absolutely looking forward to reading this new book from her.

I read Stephanie’s From Entrepreneur to Infopreneur, which set into motion some ideas on launching my copywriting business and producing a tips booklet that I can sell and use for marketing purposes. When she says Own Your Niche is a no-hype book on internet marketing you can believe it to be the case.

    3. Stephanie, I have been devouring podcast interviews that feature you and today I finally downloaded an ebook of Own Your Niche. Your voice is rare and refreshing. I am subscribed to several lists and have found myself in the mystifying loop of affiliate marketers. Occasionally something new and refreshing comes through, but mostly it’s “buy my stuff” or “buy this other person’s stuff.” After awhile the whole system starts feeling incestuous! Recently, one person sent out a sales letter that was all about bashing the other (unnamed) guys, punctuated by words like “barf.” It was from someone I have worked with in the past and who has helped me immensely, but this was quite a turn-off — not the language itself so much as the entire tone and the irony that the very marketing she was bashing was the kind of schpeil she was selling!

I don’t want to be part of that. I want something more authentic, more valuable — more values-driven, more community-oriented. So, thank you for taking your place in this world … for owning your niche!

      • Hi Colleen, Thank you very much for your great feedback! The good news is that there are a lot of experts out there who don’t subscribe to these practices. I’m so glad to be having more conversations like these around the power of running a business with authenticity and integrity. All my best to you!

    7. So far, I have read up through chapter 7. The advice is amzingly to simple to follow. The best $20 you will ever spend. You will not regret one penny.

    8. This book sounds remarkable, and I will certainly comment again after I have read it. :)

    9. How did I miss this comment? Thank you very much for a wonderful endorsement, Chris!
