When someone brings up the issue of being a generalist versus a specialist I ask them if they have ever heard of a specialist having to discount prices. With increasing competition today I think small businesses must become specialists if they want a growing profitable business.

You have probably covered this in your book, one thing businesses need to work out is if there is sufficient demand on a regular basis for their speciality.</description>
