A Message From Stephanie Chandler:
Dear Fellow
Entrepreneurs,
Thank you for
taking the time to visit the BIG website. I hope
you have found valuable information here to help you
succeed with your entrepreneurial goals.
Since kissing
off corporate America in 2003, I have become a new
person. I love getting up in the morning. I love
my work. So many people said to me, "I wish I had the
courage to do what you did." I'm here to tell you that
it wasn't so much a matter of courage as it was a matter
of planning and preparation.
You might be
amazed by how much fear is removed from the equation
when you know what you're getting yourself into. So if
you're thinking about starting a business, I urge you to
develop a solid plan. Find resources and make the most
of them. Network with other successful business people
and don't forget to write a business plan.
There is always
an element of risk when starting a business, however
preparation can help you minimize some of that risk.
Unfortunately we can't remove risk completely. Just
remember that you take risks every day. You take a risk
by driving on the freeway, eating junk food, and
falling in love! Some risks can be worth it in the long
run.
My final bit of
advice: Don't risk more than you can afford to lose. Too
many businesses fail for various reasons: lack of
planning, undercapitalization, and uncontrollable
circumstances. You should have a back-up plan so that if
you do fail, you can recover.
I have helped
hundreds of entrepreneurs find solutions to their
business challenges. If you're in need of some sound
advice and unique ideas, I want to help!
Whatever you
do, I wish you the best of luck. I would also love to
hear from you. Please
contact me to share your thoughts, your story or
your ideas anytime.
Warm regards,
Stephanie
Chandler
